"As an aspiring pediatrician and advocate for equal rights, I decided to combine my passions to target a specific audience and educate them on how to use BRAVE in the classroom and work setting." -Mikaela Pellerin

 

Mikaela Pellerin is a 17 year old from Gorham, Maine. She's currently a student at Gorham High School and the reigning Miss Maine High School America. Mikaela is a member of the National Honor Society and 7 different volunteer-based clubs and organizations within her community. She's also a former  dancer who's traveled nationally to compete. At her studio, Atlantic Dance Arts, she was trained in 8 different styles of dance. Since then, Mikaela has played competitive indoor volleyball for both her high school and for the Maine Junior Olympic Club team. When she's not staying active you might find her modeling, writing as a journalist for the Gorham Times newspaper, or enjoying the state of Maine.
