BRAVE x EMPOWER

ABOUT 

BRAVE x EMPOWER is a podcast hosted by Mikaela Pellerin the current Miss Maine High School America. BRAVE x EMPOWER discusses the realities of gender inequality and bullying in STEM. This podcast is made to break gender stereotypes, address the acronym BRAVE, provide young girls and women with knowledge of how to handle bullying situations, and to encourage more girls to follow their passions in STEM. 

What is the purpose of BRAVE x EMPOWER ?

The purpose is to create a positive impact for women involved in STEM and to provide them with resources to combat bullying in the classroom and workspace. Bullying and stereotyping based off of gender is something almost every women will experience throughout her lifetime. This is something BRAVE x EMPOWER is trying to change. Women deserve the same opportunities as men and should not let their intelligence and femininity be silenced by others. BRAVE x EMPOWER contributes to this change by sharing resolutions to bullying situations and by retelling the experiences of strong females in STEM.
